Hi Kenneth,
I wanted to touch base about a VERY minor incident that occurred around 2300 on 01 February 2024. I had something of an accident, the sort involving a silver Sharpie marker, and… well, much of the desk was treated to an impromptu makeover. The primary dispatch station now brags a touch of fabulous, Jackson Pollock-inspired abstract expressionism, giving a touch of “starry night” glamor to the once ordinary monitor, phone, keyboard… radio console… fish tank… walls… ceiling… okay, so, everything.
The humiliated rookie dispatcher coveted interior designer responsible for the mishap avant-garde remodeling endeavor extends her deepest apologies and would like to invoke the wisdom of fellow artist Bob Ross, who often reminded us that in life, “It's the imperfections that make something beautiful,” because they are “what makes it different and unique from everything else.”
Still, in the interest of protecting the station from further... artistic changes, I have safeguarded the offending tool. Hopefully this will inspire future idiots aspiring artists such as myself to either opt for a safer medium of expression, or at least utilize it with caution.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope the added artistic flare, if nothing else, at least brings some humor to your day.
Best regards,
Dizzy

"OK, I like it, Picasso!"
Thanks for the heads up, and strong work. I'm not stressed about it. Things happen, and we will just live with the remnants moving forward. It's a good reminder that there are creative folks in our employ!
